Chemical Timer and Counter
The service timer can control and count the service of hand applied chemicals to a vehicle. Typically, when wired into dispensing unit (a solenoid in line with a pressure chemical line or pump) it controls the chemical application time. The attendant pushes the enable button on the control box and a preset timer allows the chemical to be dispensed. Each time the timing circuit is activated the counter counts one up, this keeps a record of the number of services given. Limiting the time for application ensures that only that vehicle receives the service. A truer figure of the amount of services provided can be obtained without relying on the attendant.
- Solenoid for chemical flow control
- 110V AC at .5 amps power (recommended constant power, not interlocked)
