What is an SSO and how do they help make car washing easy?
In the typical industrial sector, 'buying direct' equates to getting a discounted initial price at the cost of having little to no support after the sale. SONNY'S approach to 'buying direct', however borrows principles from the retail model of distribution.
To ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, SONNY'S blends reasonable price with personal service; direct factory support with a local representative. These local representatives are referred to as a SONNY'S Select Service Organization (SSO). They have been approved to work in the field as a manufacturer's representative and to sell, install and service SONNY'S equipment. We prefer this model over the use of stand-alone distributors that exist between the car wash operator and the factory.
For customers, this means that they can avoid the car wash equipment mark-up prices associated with an intermediary, yet still receive local support.
For SSO's, this means that they can take advantage of our company's strengths in quick production and shipping, and avoid the costs of inventory upkeep and storage.
It's a method of car wash distribution which is much more comprehensive than that offered by a typical distributor model, and one in which the relationships are fair & transparent. We call it 'Direct'.
